libev-libevent-dev software package provides libevent event loop compatibility wrapper for libev, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libev-libevent-dev
libev-libevent-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libev-libevent-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libev-libevent-dev *
You will get with libev-libevent-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
